‘Fosse/Verdon’ Trailer!

FX has a new limited series coming out called Fosse/Verdon, which will explore the life of legendary filmmaker and choreographer Bob Fosse. Fosse will be played by Sam Rockwell, and Michelle Williams will play Gwen Verdon, who was one of the greatest Broadway dancers of all time.

The series is based on the biography called Fosse, and the series will tell the story of “these two brilliant, complicated individuals – the love they shared, the art they created, and the price they paid in the pursuit of greatness.” It looks like it’ll be a very stylish show.

Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda is an executive producer on the show alongside Rockwell and Williams. Steven Levenson will also be an executive producer and serve as the showrunner. He also wrote the pilot, which will be directed by Thomas Kail. Actress/dancer Nicole Fosse, the daughter of Fosse and Verdon, is also a co-executive producer on the show.

The series will be produced by Fox 21 Television Studios and FXP and will premiere in April.
