Quotes from the Movie:
S: Do I look like a sunbeam?
Quotes from Michelle:
“Marcel kept telling me, ‘Yes, we have to work under the constraints of a thriller, but I’m interested in making a love story.’ And that’s a language I speak.”
“[S] was more strenuous than other roles because maintaining that kind of presence – fake nails, hair extensions – there was a lot of artifice to it. It feels like it doesn’t allow room for other emotions.”
“I’ve never played anybody overtly confident and sexual. I’ve interpreted that as being vain, and little by little I realized , hmm, I’ve never done that before because it frightened me I wouldn’t be able to. So playing something like this that could seem more straightforward is oddly more of a challenge for me than a lot of other things. But it’s really lively, really sharp, smart dialogue that I love that just happens to be from somebody who’s very sexy and sexual.”
– Michelle played a younger version of Natasha Henstridge’s character in Species.
– On the set of this movie, Michelle gave Ewan McGregor the script for Incendiary, which became their second film together.
– The movie was filmed over seven weeks in New York and Madrid. Filming began in November 2006 in New York.
