Interestingly, “Dhulokona”, another Bengali daily soap opera aired by the same channel, featured singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo in its special episodes. Now ‘Mon Phagun’ is about to take the same route.
The current story revolves around Rishi and his former flame. The protagonist of My Phagun, Pihu, meanwhile, struggles to win back his childhood crush. She is determined to work out the differences and confess her love for Tubai Da aka Rishiraj. And Ankush is likely to play a central role in his mission.
Although Ankush continued to make frequent appearances on the small screen, Bengali viewers did not see him in daily soap operas. The actor was part of the recently completed reality show “Dance Bangla Dance 11”. He co-hosted the dance reality show alongside his real-life BFF Vikram Chatterjee. Ankush has been part of the ‘Dance Bangla Dance’ family and graced the TV show as a judge in several seasons of ‘Dance Bangla Dance Junior’. He also appeared in the comedy show “Hasiwala and Company”, hosted by Jisshu U Sengupta.
